Compassionate Presence When You Need it Most

My name is Sandi and for more than 25 years, I have walked alongside individuals and families during life’s most meaningful transitions. Today, I am devoted to supporting companion animals and the people who love them as they approach the final chapter of life.

As a Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula, I provide non-medical, holistic support to families navigating aging, serious illness, euthanasia decisions, and grief. This work is rooted in reverence for the human–animal bond and a deep belief that end-of-life deserves dignity, preparation, and compassionate presence.

I consider it an honor to hold space during this sacred time.

My Background & Training

My practice integrates experience, professional training, and intuitive presence.

I am a Usui Reiki Master working with both people and animals, offering gentle energetic support to promote relaxation, emotional balance, and a peaceful

environment during times of stress, illness, or transition.

Reiki is offered as complementary care and always in respect of veterinary guidance.

I am also certified in forest bathing, bringing nature-based grounding practices that help regulate the nervous system and reconnect families to the calming rhythms of the natural world. Nature teaches us that endings are part of a larger cycle — a perspective that can be profoundly supportive during times of loss.

In addition, I am certified in aromatherapy for pets and animals, using species-appropriate, safety-conscious applications designed to support calm and comfort.

All aromatherapy is used conservatively and ethically,

and never as a substitute for veterinary care.
Each modality I offer is complementary and carefully integrated

based on your companion’s needs and your comfort level.

My Approach

My work is grounded in:

Deep listening without judgment
Trauma-informed, compassionate communication
Clear and ethical scope of practice
Respect for veterinary expertise
Steady, calm presence during difficult moments

Why I Do This Work

The bond between humans and their companion animals is profound. To be invited into that space — especially at the threshold between life and death — is a responsibility I hold with great care. I believe that with preparation, presence, and support, even the most heartbreaking transitions can be meaningful and loving.

When you work with me, you will be met with

professionalism, steadiness, and genuine compassion.

You do not have to navigate this alone.
